Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Finlay Stair took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, E.C 2 Janeiro RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Wayan Freeman kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Finlay Stair made a precise shot to the right of Carlinhos da Costa. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marco Valadares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Demonde Jacobson came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Valadares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Marco Valadares took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Marco Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fellipe Rezende hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Karlus Waugh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamaica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karlus Waugh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finlay Stair in the 32nd minute of play forced E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Carlinhos da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes, Geroy Ascue mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the E.C 2 Janeiro RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. 40 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Valadares. In the 43rd minute, Karlus Waugh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demonde Jacobson was a little too slow when Marco Valadares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Valadares to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Romon Oliver made a precise shot to the right of Carlinhos da Costa. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 62 minutes into the game, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Marco Valadares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Haroldo Sanches put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Demonde Jacobson. If Paulo Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Válter de Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. When Romon Oliver came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Jamaica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romon Oliver couldn't finish the play. Carlinhos da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romon Oliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Haroldo Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Wayan Freeman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Valadares in the 90th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to E.C 2 Janeiro RS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Geraldo Eger hit a great ball. Carlinhos da Costa made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Finlay Stair sent off a good shot on target. 98 minutes into the game, Marco Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. E.C 2 Janeiro RS fully deserved thier win.
