The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Stefan Maerschalk fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF- The Elder Gods's protests and gave Stefan Maerschalk a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes -BZF- The Elder Gods got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Maerschalk. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Zurawski in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Corneliu Amuguroancei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Maksymilian Zurawski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Maksymilian Zurawski managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- The Elder Gods's supporters rose to their feet, but Maksymilian Zurawski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, -BZF- The Elder Gods's Evlogi Belyovski got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. -BZF- The Elder Gods walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
