Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Albohm having to interfere. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konstantin Butylin went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gladiator FC's Gustaf Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 18th minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Gustaf Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Gladiator FC were awarded a corner. Michael-Elvis Flumian went to the cornerflag to take it. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Albohm having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konstantin Butylin in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 33rd minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Gustaf Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Butylin, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. USA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Konstantin Butylin scored to the left of an out of position Marco Day, making the score, 2-0. Maxi Kon hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Gustaf Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 39th minute of play. Gustaf Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Konstantin Butylin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Konstantin Butylin made the kick off in the second half. Gustaf Albohm made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of USA booed when Gladiator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxi Kon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA were furious when Fabian Brown was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of USA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gladiator FC:s goal. The referee gave Gladiator FC a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vaggelis Mitsiou, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of USA's Marco Day. 4-0. 76 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jenson Smith came free, but Gustaf Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxi Kon in the 84th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Vaggelis Mitsiou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. The Gladiator FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
