Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Aníbal Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AEK S.C's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanasis Koltsidas came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanasis Koltsidas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of play. Thanasis Koltsidas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jelte Bleiswijk sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donzel Goyeneta, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, AEK S.C's Jelte Bleiswijk got a free kick in the 18th minute. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jelte Bleiswijk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Jelte Bleiswijk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 minutes, Julian Murillo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jelte Bleiswijk made a kick off. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Carreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 56th minute of play forced AEK S.C's goalkeeper Thanasis Koltsidas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Hats made in the 60th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kevin Carreira immediately put the ball in play. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donzel Goyeneta's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. With a little luck, AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th match minute, AEK S.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Hats to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Peru booed when AEK S.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Hats didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thanasis Koltsidas. That made the score 1-2 in the 79 minute of play. In the 82nd minute Kevin Carreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Eliseo Mina hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Rafael Gallo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thanasis Koltsidas. That made the score 1-3 after 96 minutes of play. Peru played a much better game than AEK S.C and deserved their victory. The AEK S.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
