A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Milagros Fraga hit a great ball. Nicko Vadmann got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Genaro Procopio. Lars-Erik Angvik made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After 47 played minutes BK Skjold got a freekick which was hit by Jose Eduino. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Eduino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnni Kirkskov. BK Skjold's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Peru's Joaquin Prats got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Johnni Kirkskov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. BK Skjold made a substitution. Casimiro Gines replaced Jaime Shantala. The BK Skjold players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
