Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolis Arvanitoyannis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jenson Smith in the 9th minute of play forced Underdogs's goalkeeper Brak Gola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 11th minute. Brak Gola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacob May's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrzej Budzyn in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Budzyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Budzyn in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patryk Kociniewski was slow to take the kick. During this time Underdogs's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Apostolis Arvanitoyannis got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 23 minutes into the match. The corner led to Underdogs's Borys Okopny getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Zach Harrison kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Marco Day was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Patryk Kociniewski. 45 minutes into the match, Apostolis Arvanitoyannis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apostolis Arvanitoyannis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrzej Budzyn to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Budzyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Kacper Mentus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Underdogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Kacper Mentus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute Borys Okopny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borys Okopny scored 3-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Underdogs's Lasse Penttilä was substituted for Walery Marud. Monty Rogers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Brak Gola made a huge save. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. After a rather tough play, USA's Cassius Byrne got a free kick in the 75th minute. The Underdogs fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Underdogs's Ruud van Nistelrooij looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Brak Gola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Khalid Parry showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 87 minute of play.
