Han Kun Jie hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 李广源. Han Kun Jie kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robai Julius Cunculis in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, 西北农林科技大学联队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Sproten to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 陈义星 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 陈义星 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when 郑升凡 sent off a good shot on target. If Robai Julius Cunculis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 郝笑珂 kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 陈义星 having to interfere. 李广源 charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 李广源 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 西北农林科技大学联队 getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. 李广源 hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 程骋榕 was the one to do the kick off. 西北农林科技大学联队's 陈义星 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save 西北农林科技大学联队 from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 陈义星 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but 陈义星 made a huge save. 陈义星 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute. 陈义星 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute of the match. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices pulled a muscle in his back after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Robai Julius Cunculis's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robai Julius Cunculis helped the player get up and apologised. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Agustín Saelices. Robai Julius Cunculis hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With a little luck, 西北农林科技大学联队's 陈义星 got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. If 郝笑珂 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 郝笑珂 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
