Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafal Adamski having to interfere. Rafal Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 13th minute of the match. Rafal Adamski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafal Adamski quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Andino in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafal Adamski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Beniamin Gardocki sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafal Adamski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute of the match, Cyryl Gleba tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rafal Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Adamski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafal Adamski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FC Latające Siekiery's Rafal Adamski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. In the 38th minute of the match Dawid Oleszak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Cyryl Gleba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Rafal Adamski in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Rafal Adamski made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Rafal Adamski in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Tobiasz Brodzki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. 68 minutes into the match, FC Latające Siekiery's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Rafal Adamski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafal Adamski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Latające Siekiery made a substitution. Fryderyk Sniegowski replaced Barnaba Ryback. Ecuador were furious when Camilo Gisbert was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.
