The audience was convinced that Lucho Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vincent Tordesillas was slow to take the kick. During this time Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 9thth minute of the game Lucho Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richie Cagigal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Chile booed when Real de Carmelo 2021 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Archibeque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucho Aguiar in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucho Aguiar got free with Thiago Pliego in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richie Cagigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Richie Cagigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Orlando Casaus hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lucho Aguiar made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Real de Carmelo 2021 FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Adalberto Archibeque hit a great ball. Guillermo Fontirroig's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Richie Cagigal firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucho Aguiar in the 60th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richie Cagigal came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After some careless play in the Real de Carmelo 2021 FC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richie Cagigal. The Real de Carmelo 2021 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richie Cagigal should have stopped the shot. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Arias Coz was substituted for Stefan Banaszak. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Rioja Soberon was substituted for Yiyo Sauca. 74 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richie Cagigal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Richie Cagigal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Real de Carmelo 2021 FC from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute Lucho Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
