Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Sabahattin Hanönü came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zäfär Güläliyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Rodas in the 12th minute of play. If Felix Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zäfär Güläliyev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zäfär Güläliyev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Los up up's Zäfär Güläliyev managed to reach the ball for a save. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Cahya Tomagola came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Los up up booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Mancebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Los up up's goalkeeper Zäfär Güläliyev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Zäfär Güläliyev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When David Rodas fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los up up's protests and gave David Rodas a yellow card for diving instead. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Zäfär Güläliyev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Zäfär Güläliyev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabahattin Hanönü in the 74th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zäfär Güläliyev could save by the left post. Los up up's Zäfär Güläliyev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zäfär Güläliyev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A well-hit corner resulted in Alberto Tafalla heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zäfär Güläliyev having to make a save. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 92nd minute of play forced Los up up's goalkeeper Zäfär Güläliyev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
