Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rune Söder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. After 9 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Firma Barnängen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Alcaraz in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthias Ekström who took care of the corner kick. Firma Barnängen's Matthias Ekström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Firma Barnängen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Stolpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Rune Söder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Söder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After 31 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Firma Barnängen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Firma Barnängen's Rune Söder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Söder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute Mark Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a Firma Barnängen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Olsson to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Firma Barnängen's Mark Olsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 60 minutes, Humberto Alcaraz made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Löv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Alcaraz in the 78th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Firma Barnängen's Andreas Stolpe got a free kick in the 88th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Olsson in the 91st minute of play. Mark Olsson took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0.
