Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Kraig Fred's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Karl Van Der Veecken charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Van Der Veecken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de América's Karl Van Der Veecken got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Kraig Fred left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kraig Fred got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kraig Fred scored 5-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Ranolfo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 38 minutes into the game, Kraig Fred cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Salvador Gisbert in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Estudiantes de América's Prospero Gabirel. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kraig Fred to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Dei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Traian Blăniță replaced Flavio Iraunkor. Estudiantes de América's Joel Cordarrel was substituted for Cornelio Ruisko. In the 62nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Joel Cordarrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Trasatti in the 67th minute of play. Concetto Trasatti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 72nd minute of play. Concetto Trasatti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Miodek came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 77th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute Joel Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Joel Cordarrel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Trasatti came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Traian Blăniță took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. If Traian Blăniță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Concetto Trasatti in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
