Catarinense F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Diagur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdallah Ali Maina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matthew Korir kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Catarinense F.C.'s Angel Diagur made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdallah Ali Maina was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Patrick Kush in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Catarinense F.C.'s Lucas Papacharalabous. The supporters of Catarinense F.C. booed when Annscroft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Onyii didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthew Korir hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Amarante Sierra struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Abdallah Ali Maina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catarinense F.C.. If Angel Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Catarinense F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Kariuki to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Angel Diagur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdallah Ali Maina was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 69 played minutes Annscroft got a freekick which was hit by Fred Rutto. After a rather tough play, Catarinense F.C.'s Zhu Chao Guang got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute, Angel Diagur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdallah Ali Maina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 79th minute, Catarinense F.C.'s Angel Diagur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Angel Diagur scored 0-9 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdallah Ali Maina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Angel Diagur made a precise shot to the right of Abdallah Ali Maina. Annscroft's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. In the 89th play minute Angel Diagur came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Abdallah Ali Maina. 0-11.
