Epaminondas Baba really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Batalhão do Peçanha's Epaminondas Baba was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 21st minute, Epaminondas Baba made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

The wind increased when Epaminondas Baba made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Batalhão do Peçanha's Epaminondas Baba made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Ivan Prats. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epaminondas Baba in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Epaminondas Baba struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batalhão do Peçanha. The audience was convinced that Epaminondas Baba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epaminondas Baba's shot from short distance in the 60th minute.
