Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aníbal Lorenzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cao Shi Yi in the 7th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Lorenzi having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aníbal Lorenzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in The Team FC's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Lorenzi came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cao Shi Yi. Aníbal Lorenzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Team FC's Aníbal Lorenzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 25th minute of play. Aníbal Lorenzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of play forced The Team FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Lorenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Grant Foote's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cao Shi Yi in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Cao Shi Yi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Joel Gaona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aníbal Lorenzi. That made the score 0-3 after 61 minutes of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grant Foote in the 63rd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
