Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Antonio Alzamendi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Glerum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Saco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Phillip Glerum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Antonio Alzamendi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes Saco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Agustín Saelices got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Phillip Glerum quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 20 minutes into the match, Saco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Phillip Glerum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Saco FC got a freekick which was hit by Peter-Jan De Brouwer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play forced Saco FC's goalkeeper Phillip Glerum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Resentvig in the 31st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillip Glerum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of the match. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 44th minute of play. Phillip Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. When Denis Cordera fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saco FC's protests and gave Denis Cordera a yellow card for diving instead. Denis Cordera kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. A collision led to Saco FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Arrigo Rossi hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Linus Resentvig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Resentvig came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Alzamendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linus Resentvig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antonio Alzamendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Alzamendi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Saco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter-Jan De Brouwer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Phillip Glerum when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Alzamendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Antonio Alzamendi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Resentvig in the 94th minute of play. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Saco FC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
