Salchichas Del Sur's Ercole Santarelli got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantino Sayveon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Santarelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Constantino Sayveon. Salchichas Del Sur's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Constantino Sayveon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Salchichas Del Sur getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Manoel Britto hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Salchichas Del Sur's Constantino Sayveon. Constantino Sayveon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Constantino Sayveon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 32nd minute Anier Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Salchichas Del Sur were awarded a corner. Bruno Melillo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ercole Santarelli got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. In the 44th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Sayveon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anier Perfecto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anier Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Emilio Xabier hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Eliodor Grigoroiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantino Sayveon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes Salchichas Del Sur got a freekick which was hit by Anier Perfecto. When Anier Perfecto came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Salchichas Del Sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Perfecto couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Constantino Sayveon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Anier Perfecto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salchichas Del Sur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Perfecto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Sayveon having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Constantino Sayveon. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Emilio Xabier's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Xabier helped the player get up and apologised. Emilio Xabier kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita shot a long shot in the 93rd minute and a light blocked Constantino Sayveon hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-5. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
