With an all-out effort, ARLO FC's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cipriano Gilabert, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, ARLO FC's Eric Connor got a free kick in the 4th minute. ARLO FC's Nico Cordero got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ARLO FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Gipuzkoa came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16thth minute of the game Cipriano Gilabert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eric Connor's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Connor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, ARLO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Connor to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, ARLO FC's Eric Connor got a free kick in the 24th minute. Denis Gipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30thth minute of the game Cipriano Gilabert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Denis Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Gipuzkoa was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After 41 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the ARLO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Gilabert's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 70th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Gilabert in the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ARLO FC's Sebastian Juvenal got a free kick in the 76th minute. The supporters of ARLO FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. When ARLO FC's Cipriano Gilabert in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Gipuzkoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The Venezuela players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ARLO FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
