Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Alfred Plucinik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Ks 1906 Sosnowiec booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Alfred Plucinik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Ks 1906 Sosnowiec were awarded a corner. Napoleon Bielenda went to the cornerflag to take it. 21 minutes into the match, Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Alfred Plucinik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Plucinik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Alfred Plucinik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Alfred Plucinik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Pawel Pryputnicki sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ks 1906 Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Gotfryd didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Alfred Plucinik did a great save. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Jorge Baldes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Jorge Baldes sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Alfred Plucinik in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58thth minute of the game Pawel Pryputnicki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Alfred Plucinik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Walery Majorski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ks 1906 Sosnowiec! A collision led to Ks 1906 Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Teobald Zukowski hit a great ball. When Barnaba Gotfryd fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's protests and gave Barnaba Gotfryd a yellow card for diving instead. 75 minutes into the game, one of Ks 1906 Sosnowiec:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 80th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Plucinik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawel Pryputnicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ks 1906 Sosnowiec's Adam Domaracki got a free kick in the 96th minute. A collision led to Ks 1906 Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Gaffar Bilkan hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Ecuador played a much better game than Ks 1906 Sosnowiec and deserved their victory. The Ks 1906 Sosnowiec players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
