Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joakim Giliusson, made in the 4th minute of the game. Barreal FC's Dário Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ben-Ami Gol came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dário Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dário Tepedino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th minute Ben-Ami Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Alonso Berganza was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Julian Murillo scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dário Tepedino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Dário Tepedino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Barreal FC's goalkeeper Dário Tepedino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dário Tepedino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dário Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Barreal FC's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ben-Ami Gol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben-Ami Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 61st minute of play. Dário Tepedino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Milagros Fraga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 61 minute of play. In the 64th of the match, Julian Murillo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dário Tepedino got in the way and made a wonderful save. After 66 minutes Barreal FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. In the 71stth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barreal FC's Dário Tepedino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Tepedino having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dário Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute Yu Guang Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ben-Ami Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Barreal FC made a substitution. Gerardo Iyan replaced Sebastian Sayvion. Barreal FC's Dário Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Barreal FC from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Joakim Giliusson in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 94 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ben-Ami Gol came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Milagros Fraga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dário Tepedino. That made the score 0-7 in the 95 minute of play. The Barreal FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
