Juan Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Laffitte came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeo Martxel. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Camilo Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the los nadies defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Isauro. The los nadies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Isauro should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Camilo Isauro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 53 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Isauro. los nadies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. los nadies's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Camilo Isauro, making the score, 0-4. Camilo Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. los nadies's Camilo Isauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save los nadies from getting a goal against them. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
