The Ramiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sertaç Efe should have stopped the shot. Sertaç Efe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benard Ngamta in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Americo Abarca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jurgen Goris quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 43rd minute of play forced Wesselbend's goalkeeper Jurgen Goris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sertaç Efe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.
