With a little luck, Birra Bizarra's Lohitzun Reigosa got control of the ball when Honorio Lario tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Erlantz Gainzarain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Estudiantes de Merida FC's Claudinei Canido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lohitzun Reigosa. Lohitzun Reigosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Garci Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Estudiantes de Merida FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garci Vaz couldn't finish the play. Lohitzun Reigosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Canido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romeo Piñeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. Estudiantes de Merida FC's Bambang Sagala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Piñeiros in the 51st minute of play. Lohitzun Reigosa came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de Merida FC's Emiliano Lesardo. But to his dismay, Emiliano Lesardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Estudiantes de Merida FC booed when Birra Bizarra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Piñeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lohitzun Reigosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garci Vaz in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Canido in the 63rd minute of play forced Birra Bizarra's goalkeeper Lohitzun Reigosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Estudiantes de Merida FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ove Lekberg hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Birra Bizarra's Erlantz Gainzarain broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 68th minute Claudinei Canido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lohitzun Reigosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Birra Bizarra's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Lario came free, but Lohitzun Reigosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Estudiantes de Merida FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
