Melkor Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lemi Baroğlu in the 81 minute of the game. Pablo Izaguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Vinicio Unzueta took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The throw-in from Lemi Baroğlu in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Bitxintxo Incera kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
