Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Lundgren. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Stefan Lundgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Nyman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Nyman saved Snubbinhoz FC from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, Snubbinhoz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. Östen Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walter Nyman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 39 minutes, Stefan Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Snubbinhoz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Lundgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stefan Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After having played for 43 minutes, Stefan Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Snubbinhoz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Lundgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Östen Olofsson during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Snubbinhoz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Östen Olofsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wigalf Lilleike to make the kick off. Östen Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wigalf Lilleike in the 53rd minute of play. Östen Olofsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Walter Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Stefan Lundgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wigalf Lilleike, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Stefan Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Snubbinhoz FC's Jan-Olof Utfal got a free kick in the 79th minute. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Snubbinhoz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Jonasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Nyman having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
