After a defensive mix-up in Wertian S Salvinorins's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boruc Perkowski came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 7 played minutes Wertian S Salvinorins got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Ado. If Soner Şükür had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Patryk Bartoszek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Secada in the 15th minute of play forced Wertian S Salvinorins's goalkeeper Boruc Perkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 18th minute. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wertian S Salvinorins:s goal. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, Wertian S Salvinorins's Kamilo Glik got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Konrad Chodzinski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Victorino Ado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-0. In the 36th minute, Filip Budzynski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Howard Lovecraft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Wertian S Salvinorins's Howard Lovecraft sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wertian S Salvinorins's Boruc Perkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Wertian S Salvinorins from getting a goal against them. After 74 minutes of play, Wertian S Salvinorins's Patryk Bartoszek made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Bartoszek came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Patryk Bartoszek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
