Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Peñaloza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexandre Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eduardo Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, one of Peñaloza:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peñaloza. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alexandre Cunha. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Oihan. Robert Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peñaloza's Alexandre Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Oihan in the 32nd minute of play. Alexandre Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Oihan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peñaloza's Alexandre Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Oihan in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Daniel Zorita sped through Peñaloza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexandre Cunha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play forced Peñaloza's goalkeeper Alexandre Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Alexandre Cunha in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Peñaloza's goalkeeper Alexandre Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Juan Sebastián Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Cunha having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Peñaloza's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sebastián Puig came free, but Alexandre Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Cunha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 80 minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Alexandre Cunha made a huge save. Peñaloza's Alexandre Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Peñaloza from getting a goal against them. Alexandre Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 92nd minute of play. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Peñaloza fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
