Seyfullah Ezgü hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Edgar Oneț kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Fenerbahçe51 booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Edgar Oneț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe51's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Oneț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

In the 89th match minute, Fenerbahçe51 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyfullah Ezgü to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mahir Sanak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
