An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 18th minute of play forced Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Ernesto Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Natanael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 27th minute of the match. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ernesto Natanael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Orlando Fe fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rejunte de perros's protests and gave Orlando Fe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Orlando Fe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Rejunte de perros's Timoteo Herena shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dante Lacasa but with some difficulty. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

A collision led to Rejunte de perros getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Casimiro Rudolfo hit a great ball. Joel Gaona was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 51st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Lautaro Mancebo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ernesto Natanael, passed just outside the right post. Alberto Tafalla did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Ernesto Natanael 57 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Ernesto Natanael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Ernesto Natanael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. In the 63rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Natanael. Rejunte de perros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Rejunte de perros's Ernesto Natanael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 67th minute of play. Ernesto Natanael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Natanael was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Natanael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rejunte de perros defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Natanael. The Rejunte de perros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Natanael should have stopped the shot. After 83 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Natanael was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 85th minute of play forced Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Ernesto Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. 88 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Ernesto Natanael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Natanael came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Lautaro Mancebo's late challenge caught a Rejunte de perros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Mancebo helped the player get up and apologised.
