The throw-in from Renan Soares in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A.Independiente's Fabian Ipar. In the 19th minute, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Luizão Castro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Guilherme Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heigo Luiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Fabian Ipar hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Luizão Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Buford Lim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Buford Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ made a substitution. Wambasther Sneijder replaced Cláudio Caniggia. Guilherme Zanette was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Heigo Luiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 69 minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, André Luís Zanette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Buford Lim. Despite this Buford Lim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Egon Isaksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Buford Lim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Egon Isaksson ran back to his position shaking his head.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ had won after a very even match.
