Jon Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fu Han Qiang. The supporters of Peru booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Montiel in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Andarilhos's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Jon Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Andarilhos's zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Oblak came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jon Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fu Han Qiang's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jon Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of the match. After 37 minutes Andarilhos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Andarilhos's Jon Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of play. Adriano Ramires kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play forced Andarilhos's goalkeeper Jon Oblak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Ramires hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Jorge Ruas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere.

The corner ended in Alonso Berganza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Andarilhos's Jon Oblak did a great save. Jon Oblak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonso Berganza went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Jon Oblak. Andarilhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Ramires, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Ruas who took care of the corner kick. Jon Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 68th minute of the match. 74 minutes in the game Severino Figueira did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jarbas Pinheiro. Andarilhos's Jon Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of play. Andarilhos made a substitution. Jürgen Behnke replaced Antony Bruno. Severino Figueira made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fu Han Qiang. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jon Oblak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fu Han Qiang in the 86th minute of play. If Gonzalo Montiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Rafael Gallo took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Jon Oblak to make any attempt to save it. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Andarilhos's goalkeeper Jon Oblak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jon Oblak was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Rafael Gallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Gallo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5.
