The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ged Nightingale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ged Nightingale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Larry Ferrell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 51st minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Ged Nightingale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Arrows Academy FC defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ged Nightingale. The Arrows Academy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ged Nightingale should have stopped the shot. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Arrows Academy FC's Guy Hogg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
