An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Ferrell in the 12th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larry Ferrell in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Ged Nightingale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Connor Pringle kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Luz Tejedor made a precise shot to the right of Ged Nightingale. Arrows Academy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Milagros Fraga could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Ged Nightingale however easily saved by the left post. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ged Nightingale made a huge save.
