Granadero10's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante did a great save. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Tana Rede recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Tana Rede showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Granadero10's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vítor Antunes in the 19th minute. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vítor Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tana Rede in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vítor Antunes who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Granadero10's Vítor Antunes to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when Granadero10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tana Rede in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Fredrik Masculier hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Masculier to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tana Rede, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Ricardinho Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 minutes, Bedri Aydıntan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granadero10 and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Alfredinho Cavalcante however easily saved by the left post. After 64 minutes of play Granadero10's Bedri Aydıntan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Bedri Aydıntan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Granadero10's Beniamin Madajczyk was substituted for Fredrik Masculier. After 77 minutes Granadero10's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Granadero10's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfredinho Cavalcante in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luca Rouco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfredinho Cavalcante could save by the left post. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredinho Cavalcante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
