Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Amancio Videl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kärim Benzine got free with Julio Vera in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Amancio Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Videl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 22nd minute of play forced Berni y Benja FC's goalkeeper Amancio Videl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Arce got free with Julio Vera in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgardo Arce's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Videl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Videl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Videl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olle Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the match Berni y Benja FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pastor Tino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Berni y Benja FC's Olle Carlsson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Arce in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Berni y Benja FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gavino Hats hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amancio Videl was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berni y Benja FC's Norberto Fero was substituted for Ramiro Sanson. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Amancio Videl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Berni y Benja FC's Amancio Videl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Berni y Benja FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Kärim Benzine put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. When Kärim Benzine came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Berni y Benja FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kärim Benzine couldn't finish the play. Amancio Videl made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
