When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Emanuel Reno put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Rebentala FC's Remzi İçten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 14th minute of play. Remzi İçten came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Reno in the 21st minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Remzi İçten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rebentala FC's Remzi İçten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play. Remzi İçten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Reno, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Reno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remzi İçten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Rebentala FC got a freekick which was hit by Dani Stone. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Remzi İçten. Rebentala FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Emanuel Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Barbosa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rebentala FC made a substitution. Constantino Umbruso replaced Maximino Tabby. Daniel Zorita in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Remzi İçten, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70thth minute of the game Kléber Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rebentala FC made a substitution. Alberto Veremundo replaced German Asteri. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remzi İçten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Rebentala FC's Remzi İçten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Rebentala FC from getting a goal against them. Hazım Cilasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
