MarineerS FK's Arnoldo Leicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 4th minute of play. Arnoldo Leicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezmi Gök, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Leicea was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Arnoldo Leicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Leicea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Leicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Facundo Cadaval ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Leicea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Tekin Batırhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Leicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 42nd minute of play. MarineerS FK's Arnoldo Leicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 44th minute of play. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Arnoldo Leicea made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of MarineerS FK booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnoldo Leicea. That made the score 0-4 after 80 minutes of play. MarineerS FK's Serafino Modestio was substituted for Dinç Tuncay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Rundell in the 85th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Leicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Luca Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Zorita couldn't finish the play.
