Cezmi Gök's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Arnoldo Leicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cezmi Gök came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Leicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Leicea came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. MarineerS FK's Valentin Rydberg got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Leicea made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute Žydrūnas Pauža shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MarineerS FK's Arnoldo Leicea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save MarineerS FK from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Arnoldo Leicea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Leicea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes MarineerS FK got a freekick which was hit by Tekin Batırhan. After a rather tough play, MarineerS FK's John Antolin got a free kick in the 79th minute. MarineerS FK made a substitution. Serafino Modestio replaced Dinç Tuncay. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnoldo Leicea could save by the left post. In the 83rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's Kıvanç Balyemez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Žydrūnas Pauža in the 86th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Žydrūnas Pauža in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 2-3 became the score in the 88th minute when Daniel Zorita elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 94th minute Mecnun Seha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 94th minute. The MarineerS FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
