After having played for 16 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bearcreek United's zone, Miguel Miralles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidelis Eberhart came out of the goal and Miguel Miralles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. Miguel Miralles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Panama's Abraham Alguacil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidelis Eberhart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Fidelis Eberhart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Fidelis Eberhart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Bearcreek United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 0-5.

Geronimo Seitz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidelis Eberhart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute of the match, Abraham Alguacil got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fidelis Eberhart was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 81 played minutes Bearcreek United got a freekick which was hit by Jean Altermatt. After a defensive mix-up in Bearcreek United's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidelis Eberhart came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Aaron Barrios recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fidelis Eberhart. Aaron Barrios showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Fidelis Eberhart came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bearcreek United throughout the match.
