Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Lehen started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Baltasar Ostots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Lehen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Cristante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Simon Lehen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ejército Soviético fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Juan Diego Tenorio made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ejército Soviético's Mauricio Gorbea. 31 minutes into the game, Iker Tafalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ejército Soviético the free kick. The supporters of Ejército Soviético booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Lehen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ariel Cristante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Lehen in the 38th minute of play. Primitivo Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Simon Lehen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ejército Soviético's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Lehen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Sanz in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ejército Soviético's Baltasar Ostots. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Lehen in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 44 played minutes Ejército Soviético got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Liher. In the 45th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. Ejército Soviético's Baltasar Ostots managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Sanz in the 51 minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Cristante having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Ejército Soviético was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Onofre to maneuver through the defense. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Pardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Ariel Cristante skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 81 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Lehen came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Pardo charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Pardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Pardo to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ejército Soviético.
