The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Stark to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Blixt saved KD Stiger from getting behind. Ernst Asmundsson's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernst Asmundsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Panama booed when KD Stiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Asmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Blixt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 11th minute of play. Benjamin Blixt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KD Stiger's goalkeeper Benjamin Blixt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Blixt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 31st match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Falk to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Benjamin Stark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Blixt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 47 minutes, Alex Cambeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the KD Stiger players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. Benjamin Blixt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Stark kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KD Stiger's Benjamin Stark got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Vilgot Sandberg made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in KD Stiger's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Blixt came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, KD Stiger's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 73rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilgot Sandberg went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. Abraham Alguacil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benjamin Blixt firmly grabbed it by the left post. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by KD Stiger's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. Panama's Miguel Miralles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benjamin Blixt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Georg Danielsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 92nd minute of play forced KD Stiger's goalkeeper Benjamin Blixt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Benjamin Blixt in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panama's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because KD Stiger had won, even though Panama had held more of the ball.
