Louie Hulbjerg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciriaco Chinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Wilfred Sollohub made a huge save. 19 minutes into the game, Mercedes's Honorato Kauldi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilfred Sollohub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Åge Hasle charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åge Hasle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to YNWA classic getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Åge Hasle hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Geovanni Carioca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilfred Sollohub skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Morais in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfred Sollohub saved YNWA classic from getting behind. Wilfred Sollohub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Kauldi in the 25th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Manuel Morais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mercedes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valder Harpøth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, YNWA classic's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Kauldi came free, but Wilfred Sollohub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the YNWA classic defense, Manuel Morais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilfred Sollohub. The YNWA classic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfred Sollohub should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Mercedes's Fabian Ascencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilfred Sollohub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Mercedes made a substitution. Alvaro Abar replaced Albino Feliu. Mercedes made a substitution. Genaro Azibar replaced Honorato Kauldi. 69 minutes into the match, Manuel Morais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilfred Sollohub. YNWA classic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Morais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Mercedes's Jan-Ivar Nordmo was substituted for Manuel Morais. After a defensive mix-up in YNWA classic's zone, Jan-Ivar Nordmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfred Sollohub came out of the goal and Jan-Ivar Nordmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Genaro Azibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfred Sollohub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfred Sollohub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ivar Nordmo in the 81st minute of play. YNWA classic's Wilfred Sollohub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ivar Nordmo in the 86th minute of play. The goalkeeper, Augusto Ellande, was totally fooled by YNWA classic's Amdi Talmer, who 92 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Mercedes booed when YNWA classic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amdi Talmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfred Sollohub came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Mercedes's Jan-Ivar Nordmo. But to his dismay, Jan-Ivar Nordmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Mercedes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
