Irman Roos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volmar Mouritzen in the 4th minute of the match. If Volmar Mouritzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hønning's Per Nørbjerg got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Hønning's Volmar Mouritzen in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HEJA ESLÖV's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, HEJA ESLÖV's Irman Roos got control of the ball when Volmar Mouritzen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Per Nørbjerg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per Nørbjerg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Irman Roos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Nørbjerg struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Irman Roos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hønning. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Volmar Mouritzen was the one to do the kick off. Irman Roos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volmar Mouritzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Volmar Mouritzen came free, but Irman Roos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in HEJA ESLÖV's zone, Per Nørbjerg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irman Roos came out of the goal and Per Nørbjerg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to HEJA ESLÖV getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Melker Forsberg hit a great ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Irman Roos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Per Nørbjerg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Melker Forsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th match minute, HEJA ESLÖV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Bergstedt to maneuver through the defense. HEJA ESLÖV's Karl-Michael Eriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Volmar Mouritzen came free, but Irman Roos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hønning fully deserved thier win.
