A very good chance. 11 minutes in the game, John-Arne Riise fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aquilino Felo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Anselmo Monteiro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gert Altorn. After the first half Cantera FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Monteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hakkı Türel might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gert Altorn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hakkı Türel ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Hønning's John-Arne Riise got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Anselmo Monteiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gert Altorn came out and tried to block the shot, but Anselmo Monteiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 56th minute. Hakkı Türel might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gert Altorn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hakkı Türel ran back to his position shaking his head. Hønning's Gert Altorn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Monteiro in the 66th minute of play. Aquilino Felo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Nørbjerg in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Daniel Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gert Altorn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Hønning's Fillip Knutstad got a free kick in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John-Arne Riise in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Felo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severiano Lopes's late challenge caught a Hønning's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severiano Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute of the match, Hakkı Türel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gert Altorn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. John-Arne Riise struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Aquilino Felo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hønning. When Fillip Knutstad fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hønning's protests and gave Fillip Knutstad a yellow card for diving instead. Fillip Knutstad kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A hard shot 94 in the game by Hakkı Türel from a close distance when the talented Gert Altorn managed to make a qualified save. Hønning's players were relieved.
