Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Cantera FC's Severiano Lopes got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 4 minutes of play, Cantera FC's Anselmo Monteiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Cuss was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th minute, Anselmo Monteiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Cuss was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Benjamin Cuss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Lopes in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Goo Goo Dolls's Felix Lane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquilino Felo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After having played for 18 minutes, David Abar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Abar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Monteiro in the 22nd minute of play forced Goo Goo Dolls's goalkeeper Benjamin Cuss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Lane kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Cacá Mangione received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Aquilino Felo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Cantera FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Monteiro. Aquilino Felo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Mangione in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Anselmo Monteiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Cuss. Goo Goo Dolls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Monteiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Cacá Mangione's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquilino Felo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Monteiro in the 40th minute of play. Angel Millano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Benjamin Cuss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Cacá Mangione cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Aquilino Felo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cacá Mangione stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Goo Goo Dolls from getting a goal against them. Aquilino Felo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Goo Goo Dolls's Cacá Mangione. But to his dismay, Cacá Mangione quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Aquilino Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Dragnea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cantera FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olimpiu Dragnea was slow to take the kick. During this time Goo Goo Dolls's players had a chance to rest. Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aquilino Felo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aquilino Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Mangione, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Dragnea notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Cantera FC's Aquilino Felo. Aquilino Felo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cantera FC's Aquilino Felo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Mangione in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Cantera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Astera to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 76 minutes, Cacá Mangione managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goo Goo Dolls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cacá Mangione was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 minutes Goo Goo Dolls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ambrosio Astera who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Anselmo Monteiro drilling the ball in to score 4-4 behind Goo Goo Dolls's goalkeeper. Saturnino Flotow hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Aquilino Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Mangione, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes Cantera FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olimpiu Dragnea who took care of the corner kick. Severiano Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Astera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cantera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goo Goo Dolls the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cantera FC's Ambrosio Astera got a free kick in the 97th minute. Aquilino Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Dragnea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Goo Goo Dolls players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
