Per Nørbjerg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz having to interfere. Dirch Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bowie Dillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirch Glerum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quaid McGlenn in the 36th minute of the match. Gilian McDonald struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Dirch Glerum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946. Braonain McDonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dirch Glerum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Obiajulu Head made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's goal looked a bit too open when Per Nørbjerg came free, but Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Per Nørbjerg. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Per Nørbjerg hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bowie Dillon got free with Dirch Glerum in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute John-Arne Riise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Svanström to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Bowie Dillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirch Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by John-Arne Riise. Bowie Dillon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Hønning's goal looked a bit too open when Obiajulu Head came free, but Dirch Glerum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Obiajulu Head notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hønning's Dirch Glerum. Dirch Glerum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Nørbjerg, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Hønning were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laurids Hvenekilde took the corner. The corner led to Hønning's Betinho Beton getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 79 minutes into the match, KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's goal looked a bit too open when Per Nørbjerg came free, but Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dirch Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obiajulu Head in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Binne Deans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Hønning's Dirch Glerum got control of the ball when Bowie Dillon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Hønning from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
