Acácio Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Ellande having to interfere. Geovanni Carioca made in the 8th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Manuel Morais however managed to control. A collision led to Mercedes getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Anier Mon hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Acácio Nogueira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mercedes's Augusto Ellande. Augusto Ellande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augusto Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Nogueira in the 16th minute of play. AC Batán's Ni Le Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Feliu in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Acácio Nogueira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mercedes's Augusto Ellande. Augusto Ellande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Acácio Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Ellande having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Morais in the 24th minute of play forced AC Batán's goalkeeper Ni Le Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Morais in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ni Le Zheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to AC Batán getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Üllar Vilba hit a great ball. Augusto Ellande came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira. But to his dismay, Acácio Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Anier Mon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ni Le Zheng didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mercedes's Manuel Morais shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Abar made a kick off. José Carlos da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Ellande having to interfere. AC Batán's Ni Le Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Feliu in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Anier Mon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mercedes made a substitution. Genaro Azibar replaced Melquiades Chinto. Mercedes's Jan-Ivar Nordmo was substituted for Alvaro Abar. After 62 played minutes Mercedes got a freekick which was hit by Anier Mon. In the 64th match minute, AC Batán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Orlondon to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, AC Batán's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Morais came free, but Ni Le Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Nogueira took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Ellande. Augusto Ellande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. During the 79th minute of the match Üllar Vilba completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Üllar Vilba a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 79th minute, Üllar Vilba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Batán's Cristoforo Di Ruscio was substituted for José Carlos da Silveira. AC Batán made a substitution. Cido Cardozo replaced Acácio Nogueira. The supporters of Mercedes booed when AC Batán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Üllar Vilba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Ivar Nordmo scored 5-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ni Le Zheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cido Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mercedes's Anier Mon got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AC Batán's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
