The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Acácio Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Acácio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esterilla Aponte came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira. But to his dismay, Acácio Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute Acácio Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esterilla Aponte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in José Carlos da Silveira heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos da Silveira in the 14th minute of play forced Calentura's goalkeeper Esterilla Aponte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Acácio Nogueira sped through Calentura's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esterilla Aponte. When Acácio Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the AC Batán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Acácio Nogueira couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute of the match AC Batán got a corner. Calentura's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gong Feng ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cristo Serapio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Calentura's Esterilla Aponte did a great save. 31 minutes into the match, Acácio Nogueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esterilla Aponte. Calentura's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Acácio Nogueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Acácio Nogueira scored 0-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esterilla Aponte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Acácio Nogueira made a precise shot to the right of Esterilla Aponte. Calentura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Acácio Nogueira scored 0-6 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esterilla Aponte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esterilla Aponte didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Acácio Nogueira took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Esterilla Aponte to make any attempt to save it. In the 66th minute José Carlos da Silveira suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Xoan Sastre charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Calentura's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Nogueira came free, but Esterilla Aponte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Acácio Nogueira made a precise shot to the right of Esterilla Aponte. Calentura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. If Konrad Wielkopolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esterilla Aponte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. When the match was over AC Batán could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Calentura throughout the match.
