After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Antaine Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's supporters rose to their feet, but Antaine Dillon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Klimkiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Geary Byrne in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kõpu Dynamo's Madis Heinola. Bowie Dillon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Klimkiewicz having to make a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zygmunt Zielonka to strike the kick off in the second half.
