In the 9th minute Alvaro Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Lundhberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Lundhberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Hägglund came free, but Augusto Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mercedes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johan Svanberg was slow to take the kick. During this time FC South Park's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Jan-Ove Hägglund got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 12 minutes into the match. Henning Lundhberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Mercedes were awarded a corner. Anier Mon went to the cornerflag to take it. Anier Mon made a great header on Mercedes's corner, it was just that FC South Park's Henning Lundhberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Augusto Ellande had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Johan Svanberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball The excitement rose when FC South Park's Johan Svanberg after 49 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Mercedes's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Manuel Morais made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mercedes's zone, Adrian Boman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Ellande came out of the goal and Adrian Boman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Manuel Morais got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to FC South Park getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Patrik Hellbom hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Patrik Hellbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC South Park's Henning Lundhberg got control of the ball when Honorato Kauldi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC South Park's goalie and right to Santo Rumaldo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC South Park's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Lars-Erik Bagge charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars-Erik Bagge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC South Park getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Lars-Erik Bagge hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Mercedes's Honorato Kauldi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henning Lundhberg. Henning Lundhberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Honorato Kauldi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Henning Lundhberg made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliott Axelsson in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Ellande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henning Lundhberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Morais in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Mercedes got a corner. FC South Park's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anier Mon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Anier Mon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC South Park's Henning Lundhberg did a great save. In the 91st minute Manuel Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Lundhberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
